14 May Andy Warhol’s exhibition at the Vatican
We will have to wait for 2019 but the news is confirmed: an exhibition in the Vatican dedicated to Andy Warhol!
It will be held in San Pietro, coinciding with the 25th anniversary of the opening of the Andy Warhol museum in Pittsburgh.
The works displayed will be the ones with a religious background. The artist, 39 years ago, met Pope Giovanni Paolo II in Rome and, coming from a Catholic family of Czechoslovak origin, he seems never to have lost faith despite a life of excesses.
